The Club shares its site with the Chester-le-Street Bowls Club on the Riverside Recreation Park (north of the County Durham Cricket Club ground).

There is no longer free on-street parking close to the greens (in Roman Avenue; except after 2.30 pm and on Sundays).

Paid parking is available at the Riverside Recreation Park and by the county cricket ground (both off Ropery Way north).

If coming by motorway, leave at Junction 63 and follow the signs to the A167 going south. Turn left at the second roundabout after the motorway junction (Ropery Way north), and after 200 metres there is another roundabout. Turn left into the Recreation Park car park, or turn right towards the cricket ground. There are car parks to the right and left that are visible there. Do not try to park within the curtilage of the cricket club itself). The car parks are clear on the satellite view if you move the picture upwards.

Alternatively (and cheaper) is the car park by the One-Point Hub a little north of Roman Road. Access is more convoluted but can be worked out from the map. From there there is a footpath directly to the A167, where you turn right and right again into Roman Road and then over the footbridge to the lawns.

As a final alternative, there is free parking on Lancaster Terrace (DH3 3NW) which is south west of the Riverside and is a bit further to walk, but may be worthwhile for visiting teams playing the whole day.
